I’m Denise Herrera, FNP-BC @herden0925 founder of FLY MediSpa & Wellness. I am proudly Mexican- born 🇲🇽 and raised in Chicago. I am fluent Spanish speaker and writer. Graduated from George Washington High School in 2003. With over a decade of healthcare experience, I earned my Associate then Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from SSC Community College and Indiana Wesleyan University. I then worked Neuro/Cardiac MICU from 2013-2018. In 2018 while managing the challenges of being a parent and holding a part time triage nurse position, I completed my Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Family Practice focus. I have been practicing as an Advance Nurse for over 5 years specializing in Pediatrics and Family Medicine.

I am honored to step into the world of aesthetics as an injector alongside a team of professional and knowledgeable mentorship experts. My extensive experience in different aspects of healthcare has allowed me to build the core knowledge and clinical skills to support my aesthetic and wellness practice.

FLY MediSpa & Wellness was built with intention, passion, and a commitment to helping you feel like the best version of yourself from the inside out.

This has been a vision of mine for a long time—creating a space where art, science and empathy come together to reveal your true and natural beauty.

Outside of my profession, you’ll find me at the gym, running outdoors or the treadmill, weight lifting, dancing, listening to music, singing, getting dolled up, enjoying quality time with friends and family, worshiping and praying lots and being fully committed to my skincare routine. I’m also a mom to four beautiful and amazing girls and we call Wheaton our home.
